Eighth Annual Studio Gallery 3311 Show—IDEA Students mentored by Jeff Burgess

Jeff Burgess mentors four IDEA students in his studio one day a week over the summer which he's been doing for eight years now. The purpose is to create a body of small works that are then exhibited early in September where the students sell their pieces for reasonable prices. Congratulations Dominique and Grad 2020—Jury identifies top case studies submitted by RGDs in 2017

Capilano University's IDEA School of Design prioritizes soft design skills with unique first-year assignment. The assignment asks first year students to visit Silver Harbour Seniors' Activity Centre in North Vancouver to interview seniors about their experiences and use graphic design to help share an important life lesson. VMF Bang-On IDEA School of Design Student Mural Project

This summer, Ian Kaart (designer and project lead) with Cynthia Tran Vo (co-designer and painting) designed a mural for Vancouver Mural Festival. A total of 17 IDEA School of Design students spread over 2018, 2019, and 2020 graduating classes helped paint the mural.
