Black Swan
One of my favourite art works this year is my Art Nouveau poster inspired by the Black Swan movie, I focused on creating a bold, eye-catching design using high contrast and bright colours to immediately draw attention. I used gouache, acrylic, and Sharpie to build up strong shapes and sharp text. I especially like how the crisp lettering and vibrant colour choices make the piece stand out visually.
Unicorn Story
For my three-panel storyboard made with watercolour, I focused on making it clear, engaging, and fun to look at. I built up layers of paint gradually and took time to refine each panel so everything flowed well from one to the next. This is one of my favourite pieces because I like how simple and direct it feels, while still being funny, and I really enjoy how the overall idea comes across clearly.
