Understood Comic
A project for Pascal; the prompt was "A Day And Night In The Life Of". I did this wee wizard and it turned out alright. If I were to change one thing about this drawing I would emblazon "Witchenade" upon the knife and cutting board. I inked it with a nib pen, scanned it, and coloured it digitally. Thus concludes the caption.
Someone's Making Covers
Fake album cover with real songs for a fake band, for Vida's class. It isn't very psychedelic, like at all, but it's got a sort of seventies folky vibe. If you disagree, me and my moodboard will see you in court. The most enjoyable part of this one was putting about thirty texture layers atop it in the shop of photos. If you would like to listen to this album you should listen to Clannad.
First Year Highlights
The cemetery near the school is a victory of urban design. I very much enjoyed flaunting my youthful bones all over the place. I am never going to die.
My very favourite highlight has to be the one Andrew drew with his extra-white pastel one fateful Wednesday morning. He brandished the pastel betwixt his thumb and forefinger, all the class agog; he flicked it across his paper as if he was sweeping away a bug. The mark left behind was the brightest thing we had ever seen, and what came next was better still. He passed around the extra-white pastel like a benevolent prophet; each one of us witnessed its illustrious effect fall upon our illustrations. That, dear reader, may indeed be the highlight of my entire life.
One day, I was inputting text into an Excel sheet. My dear friend Santiago happened to be working on the same sheet, and that charming and handsome saboteur pasted some Lorem Ipsum text into the field I was just about to fill. Upon seeing this devilry I was struck with an astounding feeling of jubilance and merriment. The cad, the rapscallion, the prank-pulling fiend, had brought this diversion into my life at such a serendipitous time, I had no choice but to upend my previously scheduled Highlight, as it was far eclipsed by this occurrence. Afterwards, Santiago told me it was “Just a prank, bro.”
