CapU’s Interaction Design Diploma Class of 2028
Welcome to the IDEA School of Design Interaction Design diploma, Class of 2028!
The Interaction Design diploma is now welcoming its fourth cohort of students.
Every year, we ask our new Interaction Design diploma students to choose a favourite song or music video, in any language and any genre, and share it with their new classmates. It’s become a bit of a tradition at IDEA School of Design at Capilano University, and a fun way for a new cohort to get to know each other on their very first day. Here are some of the songs our students chose this year.
“CapU’s IDEA School of Design is a career-oriented school for the next generation of creative professionals. Launch your career in branding, illustration or UX/UI design.”

“The two-year Interaction Design diploma at CapU connects design and technology to prepare you for an exciting career in tech.”
From Brazilian soul and Japanese pop to classic rock and modern indie, the range here is as broad as the personalities in this cohort. That’s what makes this tradition worth keeping. It gives us an early glimpse of the people behind the names on the class list.
We wish the students all the best as they embark on their journey through the Interaction Design diploma. We’re looking forward to seeing where you take it from here, and hearing what you’ll be listening to along the way.
