Pencil Drawing of a Statue
This drawing was the first illustration assignment we got to do in the first semester. It brought me back to the basics of drawing with a pencil and capturing light, shadow, and form. I love the way it turned out, and I enjoyed drawing a statue as I haven’t done that before.
Oil Portrait
This piece was my first attempt at an oil portrait. It was challenging but empowering, and gave me more confidence in my abilities. I decided to paint my younger sister, and as I love her so much, I wanted it to look beautiful. In the end, I am proud of what I have created, and it’s a painting I can look at and see her at that age forever.
