Deer in the cemetery
This was one of my favourite pieces from first year. The assignment was to draw a landscape, and I used some of my own photography as reference. I used to walk through the cemetery with my digital camera and take photos. I often was followed or surrounded by deer and other wildlife.
Dove
This was my final illustration assignment for the first semester. We had prompts to choose from, and I chose to do mine inspired by the surrealist art movement. We had quite open-ended creative freedom for this, and I chose subject matter I already enjoy and combined it to try to capture the bizarre and unnatural feelings of surrealism.
