A Day Living With Chronic Illness
In this work, I explore my ever-changing relationship with my chronic illness. Despite receiving a diagnosis only a few years ago, I've been dealing with symptoms for as long as I can remember. At 13, they worsened to the point that I could no longer attend school. For a long time, I had a combative relationship shown in the first page of this comic. Only upon accepting my condition and working within my limits have I been able to live my life to the fullest. Now, with the help of medication and therapies, I was able to complete my first year of in-person school for a long time.

First Year Highlights
Group critiques were one of my favourite parts of the year. I learned so much about my peers by talking about our work in a structered yet understanding setting, and it improved final products astronomically.
I really enjoyed our fieldstudies at museums for digital media. People watching, sketching and identifying barriers was inspiring and fun.
History lectures captured my favourity parts of studying the past: the gossip! the drama! and of course, the art and culture or an era.
