Ben Frey graduated from the Capilano University Graphic Design and Illustration program (2007) and RED Academy (2017) and has spent the most recent years freelancing in illustration, branding, and UI/UX.

Ben returns to the IDEA School of Design in fall 2017 as an instructor. He'll be teaching illustration in a 3rd year studio course.

Vancouver Mural Festival was held August 7–12, 2017 and is Vancouver's largest annual free public art celebration. Ben contributed a mural located in the alley near 10th and Main Street. Titled "Spacious as a Concept" the mural comments on how we compromise living space in order to live in an urban center.
