Landscape in Gouache - Salt Spring Island
For our IDES 131 class, we were prompted to create a landscape painting based on an original photo using gouache or watercolour. The photograph that I used was of Salt Spring Island, and it was taken during a family canoe trip in 2025. This was one of my favourite pieces of the year because it was my first time using gouache, and having the opportunity to experiment with a new medium was exciting and rewarding.
Logo Design Project - Shockwave Business Card
This logo design was created for DSGN 121, where we were tasked to come up with a brand and design a logo for it based on the prompts we were given. My brand was an athleisure company with a dolphin as their mascot! I really enjoyed the creative process of establishing a brand identity for my company, and I learned so many valuable skills that I will carry on to my future projects and career.
