Haluka Yagi (IDEA21) wins Global Class of Top Talent Adobe Design Achievement Award

Congratulations to Haluka Yagi (IDEA Grad 2021) for winning the Global Class of Top Talent award from Adobe! This was her first big design project in 2nd Year with instructor, Vida Jurcic from Hangar 18 Design Continuum in Vancouver.

The students created annual and community reports that really highlighted their conceptual thinking, design and illustration skills.

Braille Literacy Canada Community Report

Braille Literacy Canada is an organization aimed at increasing awareness for literacy for the blind.

This fictional community report incorporates braille and braille imagery throughout the book to familiarize the reader with this non-verbal form of communication. The cover has a braille message that can be decoded using a cheat sheet included in the report, and the text-heavy spreads have the content translated into braille, printed on transparent paper for the visually impaired to read the content.
